A terrific selection of Eryngium, producing very large heads of steel-blue prickly flowers over a mound of silvery leaves that will surely be a curiosity in the sunny border and as a cut flower. Plants are midsized in habit with strong stems. Drought tolerant once established. Sea Holly is an easy-care perennial that adapts well to most sunny areas with average to dry soil. Rated to Zone 4 but likely much hardier and worth a try in Zones 2 and 3.
